Foundry616 offers the best in contemporary jazz and jazz-oriented music from the best stars of today and tomorrow. Since September 2013, we’ve featured the cream of Australian jazz as well as special international guests from all over the world. We’re also proud supporters of Jazzgroove Association and the Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival.
Behind Foundry616 is Peter Rechniewski, former Artistic Director and co-founder of the Sydney Improvised Music Association (SIMA), a passionate jazz aficionado dedicated to keeping Australian jazz centre stage and jazz generally on the arts radar.
